US successfully tests laser weapon, destroys aircraft flying in the sky

Amid ongoing tensions with China, the United States has demonstrated its high-tech technology.

The US Navy has stunned the world by successfully testing a laser weapon. The aircraft was successfully destroyed by this weapon.

Audio and video of a test run by a US Navy warship stationed in the Pacific Ocean is also going viral. It shows a powerful laser beam protruding from the ship's deck and igniting the drone as soon as it comes in contact with it.

The Navy says the laser weapon can be used even from small boats. The test was performed on May 16.

The navy did not provide further details on the weapon, but experts say the laser weapon could have a power of 150 kilowatts.
