Gateway Distriparks shares jumped almost 6% on the company board approved its dividend:

Gateway Distriparks: It is one of the largest Indian-based logistic companies located in Mumbai. However, the company provides services in three sectors like Container Freight Stations (CFS), Inland Container Depots (ICD), and Cold Chain Storage & Logistics. It is a joint venture between Newsprint Trading & Sales Corporation and CWT Distribution Limited. The present chief executive officer (CEO) of the company is Prem Kishan Gupta.

Meanwhile, on Monday, September 28th, the shares of the company surged almost 6% in the stock market. The main reason for this is the company board decided and approved to amalgamate Gateway East India with the company. After the merger, the company will merge with Gateway Rail.

Besides, the company board of meeting held on Monday, September 28th. In the meeting, the company board approved for the amalgamation of Gateway East India. On the other side, the company board members also decided its interim dividend of Rs. 2 per equity share with a face value of Rs. 10 per each during the financial year 2020-21.

Whereas the company decided its record date for the dividend is Thursday, October 8th. While the date of payment will be done on or before Thursday, October 22nd, said the company in filling. The company touched its intraday high at Rs. 96.20 and intraday low at Rs. 89.00 in the stock market.

However, the shares of Gateway Distriparks Limited reported a bullish trend in the stock market on Monday. The company gained 5.05 points with a 5.77% increase and reached 92.55 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 4.45 points with a 5.09% increase and reached 91.95 INR.

On Monday, both Sensex and Nifty continues its bullish trend in the stock market from the last session of the stock marketThe Sensex is trading above 37,900 levels and the Nifty is trading above 11,200 levels in the stock market. The Sensex gained 592.97 points with a 1.59% increase and reached a 37,981.63 level. While Nifty gained 177.30 points with a 1.60% increase and reached 11,227.55 level.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 60,74,702 as of Monday, September 28th, and deaths reached 95,542.

In the border markets, the S&P BSE SmallCap reported a bullish trend in the stock market on Monday. It gained 367.67 points with a 2.54% increase and reached a 14,863.25 level. The S&P BSE MidCap gained 384.29 points with a 2.68% increase and reached a 14,720.97 level. While the Nifty Bank gained 683.15 points with a 3.26% increase and reached 21,665.50 level.

Top Gainers on September 28th: IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Power Grid Corporation, and Tata Motors are the top gainers in today’s stock market.
