- Nifty spot rises 118 points to 12749: Banking, metal-mining, auto stocks rise:

With the successful introduction of a vaccine by Pfizer to save the world from the Corona epidemic, the Indian stock markets went on a historic rally with the expectation that the world could now be brought out of this crisis. Sensex plunges 42970 to 43708, sets new record, rises 316 points to 43594 new highs
Trading started today at the expected strength. The Sensex opened higher at 43,444.06 against the previous close of 43,277.65. After the initial strengthening of the Sensex, offloading in Reliance Industries and selling in consumer durables stocks, including Titan, IndusInd Bank, Hindustan Unilever, HDFC Bank, including offloading, fell to 43970.21. At the close, the stock rose 316.02 points to close at a new high of 4359.67.
Nifty spot rises to 12,571, 12769 sets new history, rises 118 points to 12,749 new record highs
NSE's Nifty spot opened higher at 12,680.60 against the previous close of 12680.60. Offloading in Reliance Industries fell to 12571.10 after a rally in Cipla, including Sun Pharma. IT stocks, including TCS, Wipro, HCL Technology, rebounded from the downtrend, hitting a new high of 12769.75 and closing at a new high of 12749.15, up 118.05 points.
Bullish trade eases: Nifty 12,700 call rises to 85.95: Bank Nifty futures rise to 7.5
In derivatives, Nifty-based funds rallied aggressively after a two-way rally today. Of course, the bullish trade was seen easing today. The Nifty 12,700 call opened at 59.15 against 59.05, fell to 22.20, and reached 105, ending at 58.95. The Nifty 12,800 call opened at 30.15 against 29.85, fell to 9.75, and closed at 54. 35.25. The Nifty 12,600 put opened at 50 against 63.30, fell to 82 at 11.45, and ended at 12.30. Bank Nifty November futures opened at 28,698.25 against 28,640.05, fell to 28,165, and closed at 28,849. The Nifty November futures opened at 12,692 against 12,659.10, fell to 12,775.77 and rose to 12,774.75 at 12,763.05.

The BSE IT index jumped 433.88 points to close at 21,637.25 today after the funds rebounded all round today after offloading in IT-software services stocks yesterday. D-Link India rose by Rs 6.25 to Rs 105.20, Signity Technology by Rs 18.40 to Rs 446.95, Coforge by Rs 65.05 to Rs 2289, Infosys by Rs 31.65 to Rs 122.60, Tata Alexi by Rs 42.40 to Rs 40. HCL Technology rose by Rs 16.25 to Rs 826.05, Tech Mahindra by Rs 16.40 to Rs 837.60, TCS by Rs 38.60 to Rs 2688.55, Wipro by Rs 4.50 to Rs 346.70, MindTree by Rs 13.30 to Rs 1325.15.

Shares of healthcare-pharmaceuticals companies rallied broadly today after offloading yesterday. The BSE Healthcare Index rose 558.75 points to close at 19,0484.39. Laurus Lab up Rs 22.60 to Rs 282.10, Apollo Hospital up Rs 155.85 to Rs 2187.90, Solara Active up Rs 68.30 to Rs 1051, Aurobindo Pharma up Rs 49.90 to Rs 811.05, Lupine up Rs 52.15 Pharma increased by Rs.124.10 to Rs.2558.15, Stride Pharma increased by Rs.28.20 to Rs.625.55, Dr. Reddy's Lab increased by Rs.186.40 to Rs.4886.85, Newland Lab increased by Rs.38.90 to Rs.1104.75, Cipla increased by Rs.24.40. Pfizer up Rs 157.40 to Rs 5202.85, Sun Pharma up Rs 14.80 to Rs 506.10, Biocon up Rs 11.35 to Rs 417.55, Diviz Lab was up by Rs. 88.15 to Rs. 3352.20.

Banking-finance stocks continued to rise. The BSE Finance Index rose 65.39 points to close at 6408.37. Axis Bank rose by Rs 25 to Rs 608.50, JSW Holdings by Rs 172.10 to Rs 2850, Magma Fincorp by Rs 1.85 to Rs 43.60, Bajaj Finserv by Rs 263.65 to Rs 6950.60, IIFL Finance by Rs 2.75. Chaulamandalam increased by Rs 11.55 to Rs 421.20, HDFC Limited increased by Rs 52.35 to Rs 2324.20, HDFC Life increased by Rs 13.85 to Rs 623.35, MCX increased by Rs 28.30 to Rs 1688.35, Bajaj Finance increased by Rs 40.90. Corp rose by Rs 9.90 to Rs 839.45.
Auto stocks rise: Eicher Motors Rs 94, Hero MotoCorp Rs 107, Bosch Rs 262, Maruti Rs 64 Funds also made big purchases today in automobile stocks. The BSE Auto Index rose 319.56 points to close at 18,615.20. Eicher Motors up Rs 94.25 to Rs 2327.65, Hero MotoCorp up Rs 107.85 to Rs 3059.80, Tata Motors up Rs 4.95 to Rs 150.95, Motherson Sumi up Rs 3.90 to Rs 131.30, Bosch up Rs 262.75 to Rs 12,26 Suzuki rose by Rs 64.50 to Rs 6855.50, Bajaj Auto by Rs 25.65 to Rs 3022.75.
Tata Steel jumps Rs 33 to Rs 474: Hindalco, Sail, Hindustan Zinc, Jindal Steel, Vedanta rise
In metal-mining stocks, the BSE Metal Index jumped 314.50 points to close at 9265.10. Tata Steel up Rs 32.65 to Rs 474.50, Hindalco up Rs 11.85 to Rs 204.15, Sail up Rs 1.70 to Rs 39.65, Hindustan Zinc up Rs 7.35 to Rs 224.70, Jindal Steel up Rs 5.50 to Rs 219.30, Veda .2.30 to Rs.101.95.
Reliance Industries loses Rs 20,000 on a heavy selling of funds: Rs 87 falls to Rs 1998
Funds in Reliance Industries again lost Rs 2,000 today on a sell-off. Shares fell by Rs 87.35 to Rs 1997.20 today, largely offloading the funds amid controversy over Amazon's acquisition of Future Retail by Reliance Retail.
Small, Mid Cap, Cash Stocks Re-Attract: 1431 Shares Positive Close: 242 Shares Only Buyer's Circuit
Marketbread remained positive with widespread buying by small, mid-cap, cash-back funds, high net-worth investors. Out of the total 2934 scrips traded on the BSE, the number of decliners was 1298 and the number of gainers was 1431. The only seller in 237 stocks had a bearish lower circuit against the bullish upper circuit of 242 stocks.
Net purchase of Rs.6207 crore in FPIs / FII cash: Net sale of DII at Rs.3463 crore
FIIs-Foreign Institutional Investors-Foreign Portfolio Investors-FPIs made a huge net purchase of Rs 6,207 crore in cash today-Wednesday. Of this, a total purchase of Rs 14,549 crore against a total of Rs. 8342 crore was sold. DII-domestic institutional investors today saw a net sale of Rs 3,463 crore in cash. A total of Rs 8042 crore was sold against a total purchase of Rs 4578 crore.
