Announcing the decision, state education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that 1276 government, 5325 grants-in-aid, 4331 self-financed, and 45 other schools were found in the state.
The state government has conducted Std-10 and Std-12 board examinations in Gujarat. The decision to postpone the Corona transition, which was scheduled to take place from May 10 to May 25, was taken on April 15, while the decision for the Std. 12 examinations will be taken on May 15.
Earlier, the state government had announced mass promotions for students studying in Std 1 to 9 and Std-11 this year because of the worrying situation of the corona outbreak.
Although repeater students appearing for Std-10 (SSC) examinations will not get the benefit of mass promotion, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that the examination of repeater students would be held after reviewing the situation at that time after the reduction in Corona cases.
