 PM Narendra Modi today launched digital payment solution e-RUPI. e-RUPI is a simple and secure way to make cash and contactless payments. It is a QR code and SMS string-based-e-voucher delivered to the beneficiary's mobile. Users of this seamless one-time payment mechanism will be able to redeem the voucher at the service provider without a card, without a digital payment app, or with internet banking access.
