Sensex jumps 445 points to 44,523 new highs: Bankex 791 points, Auto Index jumps 363 points



Amid repeated outbreaks in Corona's second-third wave around the world, claims by global pharma giants that the corona vaccine is succeeding and Donald Trump's defeat in the US, and reports of Joe Biden's willingness to cooperate have led to a sharp rise in crude oil prices in global markets. The boom continued. In banking-finance stocks, funds rallied aggressively and in automobile, FMCG, pharmaceuticals-healthcare stocks, the Nifty jumped 13.50 points for the first time to close at 13,055.15 and the Sensex closed at 445.87 points. The rupee had lost 9 paise to Rs 74 against the rupee. International crude oil prices continued to rise, with Brent crude rising to 46.41 and Nymex crude to $ 43.45 in the evening trade.


Sensex hits the new historic high of 44601, jumps 445 points to a record high of 44,523 Trading started strong today. The Sensex opened higher at 44,341.19 against the previous close of 44,077.15. Attractions including ITC, Hindustan Unilever as well as Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, Sun Pharma, Asian Paints, NTPC rose to a new high of 44,601.63 and closed at a new high of 445.87 points.


Nifty jumps to 13,000 for the first time:

At the close, the stock rose 128.70 points to close at a new record high of 13,055.15.


Call of Nifty 13,000 increased from 56.85 to 123.05:

Put of Nifty 12,900 decreased from 72.80 to 22.20 Nifty-based funds rallied aggressively today before the end of the November trend in derivatives on Thursday. In various call-put options of Nifty 26, November expiry, the call of Nifty 13,000 opened at 70.25 against 56.85, fell to 60.20, and reached 124.90, ending at 123.05. The Nifty 12,900 put opened at 55 against 72.80 and fell to 56.50 at 21.35, ending at 22.20. The Nifty 13,000 put opened at 80.15 against 121.55, fell to 98.95 at 43.45, and closed at 44.10. The Nifty 13,100 call opened at 30.05 against 26.60, fell to 26.50, reached 65, and ended at 64.


Bank Nifty futures rise from 29,010 to 29,783: 

Nifty futures rise from 12,934 to 13,077 Bank Nifty November futures opened at 29,200 against 29,010.40, fell to 29,151.15 and reached 29,783, ending at 29,783. The Nifty December futures opened at 29,240.35 against 29,011.30, fell to 29,174.05 and reached 29,751, ending at 29,751. The Nifty November futures opened at 12,934.35, reaching a low of 12,964.80 and a high of 13,081.60, ending at 13,077.60. The Nifty December futures opened at 13,039.95 against 12,954.90, fell to 12,984.05 and reached 13,105, ending at 13,099.95.



Bankex jumps 791 points: RBL, Axis Bank, HDFC, State, Kotak, IndusInd Bank rise


The BSE Bankex Index jumped 791.41 points to close at 34,138.29 on renewed aggression by funds in banking-finance stocks. RBL Bank up Rs 13.75 to Rs 226.30, Axis Bank up Rs 23.95 to Rs 619.55, HDFC Bank up Rs 43.80 to Rs 1438.65, State Bank of India up to Rs 5.15 to Rs 243.85 ICICI Bank up Rs 10 to Rs 478.30 Kotak Mahindra Bank rose by Rs 26.75 to Rs 1924.35, City Union Bank by Rs 1.20 to Rs 185, IndusInd Bank by Rs 4.80 to Rs 853.65.

Funds were being raised in finance stocks. Pilani's investment rose by Rs 168.95 to Rs 2210, Equitas Holdings by Rs 4.40 to Rs 67.80, Shriram Transport by Rs 54.75 to Rs 1029.35, General Insurance by Rs 6.60 to Rs 137.05, Mahindra Financial by Rs 16.56. Diwan Housing rose by Rs 1.10 to Rs 23.45, Magma Fincorp by Rs 2.20 to Rs 47.50, Shriram City Union by Rs 43.55 to Rs 1107, Capri Global by Rs 12.30 to Rs 297.60, Chaulamandalam by Rs 18.95 to Rs 521.85 Housing Financier increased by Rs 37.95 to Rs 1665, Edelweiss by Rs 1.45 to Rs 64.20, Motilal Oswal by Rs 12.65 to Rs 615, MCX India by Rs 32.25 to Rs 1620, Bajaj Finserv by Rs 86 to Rs 885945. Banks rose by Rs 1.05 to Rs 96.

Hindalco rose by Rs 7.90 to Rs 225.95, Vedanta by Rs 2.75 to Rs 115.80, Hindustan Zinc by Rs 2.65 to Rs 222.50, Tata Steel by Rs 5.45 to Rs 548.15, and JSW Steel by Rs 3.15 to Rs 340.80.


Bosch jumps Rs 1,170 to Rs 12,988: Eicher Motors, Mahindra, Cummins, Maruti Suzuki, Exide rise


The BSE Auto Index rose by 362.95 points to 20,119.09 on aggressive buying by funds in automobile stocks. Bosch rose by Rs 1170.15 to Rs 12,988.50, Eicher Motors by Rs 95.30 to Rs 2692.70, Mahindra & Mahindra by Rs 24.50 to Rs 729.95, Cummins India by Rs 15.15 to Rs 527.70, Maruti Suzuki by Rs 147.35. Exide Industries rose by Rs 1.45 to Rs 175.10, Tata Motors by Rs 1.40 to Rs 172, Bajaj Auto by Rs 9.25 to Rs 3086.35, and MRF by Rs 46.95 to Rs 80,003.70.


FMCG stocks include CCL Products, ITC, Bajaj Consu., Global Spirit, Hind. Unilever advanced

1604 stocks close positive Small, mid-cap, cash stocks, sustained funds, investors' broad-based market breadth remained positive today. Out of the total 3000 scrips traded on the BSE, the number of gainers was 1604 and the number of losers was 1200. The only seller in 180 stocks had a bearish lower circuit against the bullish circuit of only buyers in 349 stocks.


Net purchase of Rs 4563 crore in FPIs / FII cash: 


Selling of shares worth Rs 2522 crore in DII cash FIIs-Foreign Institutional Investors-Foreign Portfolio Investors-FPIs made a net purchase of Rs 4,563.18 crore in cash today-Tuesday. Of this, a total of Rs 79,17.71 crore was sold against a total purchase of Rs 12,480.89 crore. DII-domestic institutional investors had a net sale of Rs 2,522.11 crore in cash today. A total of Rs 6476.50 crore was sold against a total purchase of Rs 3954.39 crore.
