Nifty 12,968 set a new history: profit booking in banking stocks
FPIs / FIIs bought for Rs 4738 crore in cash, DIIs sold for Rs 2944 crore
The global price of crude oil rose by $ 45 per barrel on Friday, despite a global downturn in European countries against claims by Pfizer-Biotech and AstraZeneca-Oxford University about the effectiveness of the corona vaccine around the world. The Sensex gained 194.90 points to close at 44077.15 and the Nifty spot rose 67.40 points to close at 12,926.45. The US dollar had lost 6 paise to Rs 74.10 against the rupee today. Small, mid-cap stocks saw a broad bullish storm today.

Trading started strong today. The Sensex opened sharply higher at 44,164.17 against the previous close of 43,882.25. And attractions including NTPC, Tata Steel, Nestle India, Power Grid Corp, Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints, Sun Pharma, Ultratech Cement, Maruti Suzuki rose to new historic highs of 44,271.15 at the same time. In India, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and offloading came down to 43,747.22. After rising, IT, metal, oil-gas, finance stocks rose again and closed at 44,077.15, up 194.90 points.
Nifty IT, oil stocks rise to 12,968 new highs, up 67 points to 12,926
NSE's Nifty spot opened at 12,960.30 against the previous close of 12,859.05. ., Shree Cements, Hero MotoCorp, NTPC, Nestle India, Power Grid Corp, UPL, Hindalco, Tata Motors, Cipla, among others, increased the attraction to 12,968.85 new heights. Profit bookings in India, Bharti Airtel, Titan Company fell to 12,825.70 and then rose 67.40 points to close at 12,926.45.

Ramco Systems rose by Rs 12.20 to Rs 446.10, Wipro by Rs 9.45 to Rs 355.85, HCL Technology by Rs 20.10 to Rs 839.20, TCS by Rs 64.40 to Rs 2724, Nucleus Software by Rs 9.90 to Rs 546.60, L&T Tea Technology rose by Rs 27.70 to Rs 1689.
Crude Brent $ 45.45: Reliance jumps to Rs 1950: ONGC rises to Rs 76: Gail, BPCL rises
Even in oil-gas stocks, the BSE oil-gas index rose 345.83 points to close at 13,260.70 today as funds took an all-round attack. International crude oil prices rose on vaccine development, pushing Brent crude to $ 45.45 a barrel and Nymex crude to $ 42.81. ONGC up Rs 4.90 to Rs 76.50, Gujarat State Petro up Rs 7.10 to Rs 205.35, Gail India up to Rs 3.45 to Rs 100.90, BPCL up Rs 11.20 to Rs 394.55, Reliance Industries Shares of Indraprastha Gas rose by Rs 51.60 to Rs 1950.80, Indraprastha Gas by Rs 5.90 to Rs 449.60 and Petronet LNG by Rs 1.30 to Rs 252.25.

Pharma-healthcare stocks were seeing an aggressive takeover of funds today. The BSE Healthcare Index jumped 339.92 points to close at 20062.65 on the back of a rebound in pharma stocks, with Pfizer and AstraZeneca claiming that their corona vaccine was effective and Mordana also announced the price of the vaccine. Sail India up to Rs 2.10 to Rs 43.20, Jindal Steel up Rs 5.15 to Rs 241.75, Tata Steel up Rs 10.15 to Rs 542.70, Vedanta up Rs 2.05 to Rs 113.05, Hindalco up Rs 2.75 to Rs 218.05, Coal India JSW Steel rose by Rs 1.25 to Rs 122.70 and JSW Steel by Rs 1.65 to Rs 337.45.

Banking-finance stocks saw a profit booking of funds today. The BSE Bankex Index fell 257.93 points to close at 33,346.88. ICICI Bank down Rs 11.90 to Rs 468.30, Axis Bank down Rs 12.10 to Rs 595.60, State Bank of India down Rs 4.10 to Rs 238.70, HDFC Bank down Rs 9 to Rs 1394.85, HDFC Ltd down Rs 8.5 2250.80, Muthoot Finance fell by Rs 28.30 to Rs 1155.70, LIC Housing Finance fell by Rs 7.70 to Rs 321.65 and Motilal Oswal fell by Rs 11.10 to Rs 599.90.

Shares of Gland Pharma Ltd jumped another 15% to close at Rs 2,091.85 today after a roaring listing on the BSE, NSE last Friday. Which went up to Rs 2184.50 intra-day today.
370 stocks bullish circuit: Small, mid-cap stocks rebound broadly: 1688 stocks close positive
Small, mid-cap, cash-strapped funds declined today, and investors' broad-based market breadth remained positive. Out of the total 3013 scrips traded on the BSE, 1688 were up and 1144 were down. The only seller in 190 stocks had a bearish lower circuit against the bullish circuit of only buyers in 370 stocks.
Net purchase of Rs 4738 crore in FPIs / FII cash: Sale of shares worth Rs 2944 crore in DII cash
FIIs-Foreign Institutional Investors-Foreign Portfolio Investors-FPIs made a net purchase of Rs 4738.44 crore in cash today-Monday. Of this, a total of Rs 7704.3 crore was sold against a total purchase of Rs 12442.96 crore. DII-domestic institutional investors had a net sale of Rs 2,944.05 crore in cash today. A total of Rs 6853.33 crore was sold against a total purchase of Rs 3909.28 crore.
