Israel-Palestine War: Israeli Military Shares Video of Top Hamas Man Killed in Infiltration Attack
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Sunday that a week after the Palestinian Militant group's offensive on southern Israel began, Israeli forces killed Bilal al Qadr, another senior Hamas commander from the Nukhba special forces, in an airstrike.
According to the IDF, Qadr, the leader of the southern Khan Yunis section of the Nukhba troops, was in charge of the raids on the Israeli border communities of Nirim and Nir Oz.
Al-Qadr was assassinated last night after being targeted by Israeli Air Force fighter jets under the control of the Shin Bet security agency.
The Nukhba commander of the forces in southern Khan Yunis, who was in charge of the Kibbutz Nirim massacre, was killed, the Israel Air Force (IAF) claimed in a series of social media posts on X, as part of the extensive IDF strikes on senior terrorist operatives and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli Air Force (IAF) attacked the Gaza Strip based on information provided by the Israel Securities Authority (ISA). Terrorists from Hamas and Islamic Jihad were also slain, according to an official statement.
Additionally, the IDF carried out strikes on more than 100 military targets in Zaytun, Khan Yunis, and West Jabaliya.
"By hitting Hamas' operational command centers, military complexes, dozens of launchers, anti-tank missile launch stations, and observation posts, these attacks had an adverse effect on the terrorist group's capabilities. Additionally, operational command headquarters for the terrorist group Islamic Jihad were hit," the statement continued.
The third significant Hamas commander to be slain by Israeli forces was Qadr. Ali Qadhi, a company commander of the Nukhba commando squad, was reportedly killed in a drone attack on Saturday, according to the IDF. One of the attacks on October 7 was also directed by Qadhi.
Murad Abu Murad, the leader of Hamas's aerial network, was reportedly killed by an airstrike carried out by Israeli troops overnight on a terror target in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas has also claimed that three of its fighters were killed after entering Israel through Lebanon.
